Established in 2009 by Gervanne and Matthias Leridon, African Artists for Development (AAD-Fund) is a philanthropic NGO that supports development projects in African communities, incorporating creations by contemporary African artists. This original approach has earned AAD-Fund an award from the Clinton Global Initiative, as well as a consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council. AAD - Fund is a unique catalyst, bringing together worlds, linking companies, NGO's, and African contemporary creations in humanitarian projects that actively participate in creating a positive and sustainable future for the African continent. More than five million people have been associated with AAD-Fund programmes since it's creation on the African continent.
